No need to wait
three days for a letter. Bunk1’s Bunk Note messaging system allows
parents to send emails to their campers directly through your website. Bunk Notes are available at no cost to camp.
How does
Bunk Notes work?
Parents sign on to your camp’s password-protected website, select
their child’s cabin, type their letter, and hit send. Letters are
stored on Bunk1 ’s secure servers and then automatically sent to
your camp daily (as a single e-mail attachment), pre-sorted by cabin
and camper name!
What do I
need to do?
You simply open the attachment and hit ‘Print.’ Each
message prints on a separate page, ready to be distributed with
your regular camp mail.
Can I charge
my camp families for this service?
Yes! To cover the paper, ink, and labor costs associated with
Bunk Notes, you can charge your parents to send Bunk Notes. Parents
purchase ‘packages’ of Bunk Notes directly through your website,
a portion of which belongs to your camp. In addition to covering
costs, many camps charge for Bunk Notes as a way to discourage parents
from overwhelming their children with messages.
