Your data is secure. Bunk1 uses industry standard 128 bit encryption to protect your data.
Bunk1 protects your confidential information such as credit card data by making the pages that collect this information secure. If your browser is set to notify you when you enter such an area, you may be told that you are entering a secure area. When you are done filling out the page(s) and continue to the next page, you may then be told that you are leaving the secure area.
You may also be told that a page displays both secure and insecure objects – do not be concerned by this. Only the parts of the page associated with your confidential information need be secure.
(One clue that you are on a secure page is the “https” prefix in the web address (“URL”). The “s” denotes a secure page. Sometimes, however, you will not see the “s” despite the page being secure. For instance, some of our pages are “framed” meaning that they are a page within a page. Since you only see the URL of the “outside” page, you will not see the “s” despite the page being secure.)
If you have questions about a specific page, feel free to send us an email with the URL about which you are concerned.
