WHY ARE THERE ?’S IN THE BUNK NOTE I SENT?

Did you write your note in MS Word (or WordPerfect) and copy and paste it into the Bunk Notes page? Sometimes, these programs replace the 'standard' characters (e.g., a straight apostrophe (') ) with non-standard characters (e.g., a curved apostrophe (’) ). These non-standard characters look nicer on the screen but are not recognized by the Bunk1 page and is replaced by a "?" in the text of the Bunk Note received by your camper.

You can still type your Bunk Note in Word. Before copying and pasting, go the menu at the top of the page and select "Save As..." For "save as type" (the last pulldown on the popup window), pick "plain text." This will replace all the non-standard characters with standard ones. After that you should be able to copy and paste your letter into the Bunk Notes page.
