By registering this application I hereby grant Habonim Dror Camp Na’aleh, Inc. permission to transport my child to and from camp by bus or other motorized vehicles for trips and other events.
INTERNET AND MARKETING RELEASE
I also hereby grant Habonim Dror Camp Na’aleh, Inc., permission to use photographs and videos of my child on Camp Na’aleh’s Internet website and in any of its other marketing materials including social networking.
STANDING ORDER MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION PERMISSION
I also hereby grant Habonim Dror Camp Na’aleh, Inc., permission to administer nonprescription medications on an as-needed basis to my child at Camp Na’aleh.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY AND RULES VIOLATION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I have advised my child that possession and/or consumption of non-prescription drugs (any drugs not indicated on the medical form or prescribed by Camp medical staff, narcotics, alcohol and tobacco products) are prohibited at Camp.
I understand that if my child consumes any prohibited substance pursuant to the Camp rules, guidelines, and laws of the state of New York and of the United States, my child may be expelled from the camp without further notice, at the camp’s discretion, and at my own expense.
I acknowledge that Camp may dismiss my child for a violation or abuse of the Camp Na’aleh rules by either the child or the parent.
I understand that violation of any of the above-stipulated rules may also jeopardize future participation of my child in Habonim Dror activities. I certify that to the best of my knowledge the above named child is both physically and psychologically prepared for an overnight group living experience.
RULES AND INFORMATION
Dates: New York City public schools end Friday, June 26th 2015. As such, camp will begin on Sunday, June 28th 2015. Visitors’ day will be held in camp on Sunday, July 19th. The last day of camp will be Sunday August 16th.
Payment: Payment may be made by personal check, bank check, money order, or credit card. Please make all checks payable to Habonim Dror Camp Naaleh. A deposit of $500.00 is required with this application form. Fifty percent ($250) is refundable prior to December 31, 2014. Below there are 3 payment options to choose from, you must select one of the three options. If full payment is not received by the first day of camp, and no payment plan has been arranged, tuition shall be charged at full price and the entire amount is non-refundable. There are no refunds of any kind after December 31st 2014, or after 30 days from the registration date should registration occur after December 31st. In the event that a child’s registration is cancelled, Camp Na’aleh will permit families to transfer paid balances to other members of their immediate family in lieu of a refund.
Fees: Included in the fees is a $135 charge for Habonim Dror membership fee. The fee entitles your child to take an active part in a variety of activities, both educational and social, during the school season. The purpose of these activities is to increase your child’s awareness of her/his Jewishness, of the importance of Israel to world Jewry, and to produce for him/her an active Jewish social life. All Na’aleh campers must be members of Habonim Dror.
Kupa: Kupa is a cooperative fund collected separately by the camp to cover the cost of camper-selected parties or trips, toiletries, and various extras. The suggested amount is $100 per session that a camper will be at camp, and $400 for Madatz. Parents should feel free to contribute what they wish. this amount is also included in the total fees, but payments may be made by separate check to Camp Na’aleh - "Kupa" should be written in the lower left-hand corner - or paid with tuition. Kupa payments are due at the same time as tuition.
Medical Form: All campers must be seen by a physician for a physical examination within the 8 months preceding camp. The camp medical form must be completed in its entirety, and must include a copy of the family’s insurance card. The form must be signed by a parent and physician and submitted to Camp Naaleh no later than the first day of camp. Should Camp Na’aleh not receive the form by the first day of camp, campers will not be permitted to attend camp until we receive the completed form.
Dietary Restrictions: Camp requests that in the event that your child has a major dietary restriction, i.e. Gluten free/Celiacs, a conversation must take place prior to camp between you and our Rosh Mitbach (head of the Kitchen) about the specific needs. It is also recommended that you send your child to camp with an initial supply of food to fit their dietary restrictions.

Visiting: Visiting Day for parents is Sunday, July 19th 2015. This is the only time that parents are allowed to visit Camp Na’aleh while camp is in session. Parents MAY NOT remove their child from camp on visiting day. In the event that a child has no visitors on Visiting Day, an in camp alternate visit can be arranged at the discretion of the Executive Director and the Mazkirut (head staff).
Technology: The use and reliance on technology is something that is very difficult to get away from outside of camp, but we are making every effort to maintain an insular, safe, and technology free environment at camp. As such, cell phones and portable lap top devises are not permitted in camp. In addition, devices that support internet connectivity such as PSP’s and Nintendo DS are also not permitted. Camp does permit portable music players (mp3’s, IPods, including IPod touch Etc.) and small speakers, however we discourage bringing items of major monetary value as camp is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
