STEP 1: REGISTER THE "FAMILY MANAGER"
Register your group under the "FAMILY MANAGER." The Family Manager is the PARENT or GUARDIAN who wishes to receive email notifications and billing information related to Parent-Daughter Weekend.
STEP 2: REGISTER EACH FAMILY MEMBER ATTENDING
Choose a session and fill out the camper information for EACH family member attending.
Please register adults first, then kids.
If the Family Manager plans to attend Parent-Daughter Weekend (most common), he or she will fill out this application as the "Family Manager" AND "Camper #1." If the Family Manager does not plan to attend Parent-Daughter Weekend, then "Camper #1" is the parent or adult guardian who will attend. Information about age and gender is very important for tenting purposes so that we can place you with other moms, dads, or families, and with campers of the same age, when possible.
STEP 3: MAKE A PAYMENT
Once you submit your application, you will automatically be transferred to a secure payment page. The cost to attend Parent-Daughter Weekend is just $75.00 per person, and should be paid in full with your registration. The $75.00 fee includes 4 meals, snacks, craft supplies, and staffing costs. WHO CAN ATTEND?
Parent-Daughter Weekend is a chance for new or prospective campers (girls ages 5 - 15) to get to know CJL better, and for mom or dad to share the fun!
At CJL, campers sleep in 4-person tents. The camp is divided into four units, each consisting of seven camper tents and one counselor's tent.
If you are bringing two daughters, both parents (or two adult family members/guardians) may attend to make a tent of four. No brothers, please. Only one parent may attend per child. If you need to register more than two daughters, please call the camp office so that we can make accommodations.
If you are a parent-child pair and you would like to request to be IN THE SAME TENT as another parent-child pair, please provide the names of the parent and child in the "Tenting Requests" section, below. It is important for the person you have requested to submit an application as soon as possible so that we do not run out of space. We prefer that non-family members register separately, especially if payment will be separate.
You may also request to be IN THE SAME UNIT as another pair, family or group by providing their names in the "Tenting Requests" section, below. Please make sure that the people you have requested fill out an application as soon as possible!
SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS
Meals at CJL are prepared by our trained dietitian and staff and are served family-style in the camp dining hall. Given adequate notice, we can accommodate campers who are vegetarian and have moderate food allergies and sensitivities. Please notify the camp of any special dietary needs as soon as possible but no later than one month prior to your arrival at camp.
Gluten free diets will incur a $10 fee per person to defray the costs of preparing special meals. The fee will be added after your application is received, and you will be notified at that time. If you have any questions, please contact the camp office.
After you have registered, if you find you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can try to fill your place. After April 1, refunds are given only if your place is filled.
